OVERVIEW: JimmyJazz.com is seeking an individual with good fashion sense and outstanding writing skills. Candidate writes Footwear, Clothing, and Accessory product content based on fashion industry standards, as well as in compliance with search engine optimization best practices. Prior experience in writing with Search Engine Optimization best practices is preferred but not required. Candidate will be responsible for managing multiple support/data-entry based tasks and projects including but not limited to; managing Release Calendar, communicating with Merchandisers, and daily product reconciliation. The copy writer will also edit and revise existing website content based on established guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated creative writing skills and ability to write engaging and fashion relevant web content
• Some experience creating content for websites/magazines/blogs
• Familiarity with internet marketing, Search Engine Optimization is a plus
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and electronic communications tools: internet and email required
• Established organizational and problem solving skills required
• Proven problem solving and interpersonal skills with experience providing complex, confidential administrative support in a high-profile environment
• Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to work in a changing environment required
• Ability to work across a variety of projects and with diverse systems and applications
• Basic knowledge of HTML and at least some understanding of the content management systems (CMS) a plus
• Knowledge of Retail and Merchandising a plus. Knowledge of working with databases a plus
