The Simmons are constantly making moves outside of the household and into the fashion & music world. As we all know Vanessa & Angela have a successful footwear line for girls, Pastry, and are constantly committed to several organizations, such as the Girl Scouts. Jojo, is focused on taking his rap trio, Team Blackout, to the next level and is currently a contributer to GlobalGrind.com, a site funded by his uncle, Russell Simmons. But what about Diggy?

Just like his older brother, Diggy is making his way from tv screen to the studio. He recently leaked out a track, "Point to Prove", on the web. Check it out!

On November 19th, the multi-talented musician and humanitarian, Wyclef, came by our Jimmy Jazz store on 442 Fulton Street in Brooklyn, NY. The Haitain-born, Wyclef help launch the new Timberland® Earthkeepers™ Yéle Haiti Collection at our store by greeting fans and signing autographs. As mentioned in our previous post, the cool thing about each Yéle Haiti boot sold is that $2 will be donated to Wyclef's Yéle Haiti organization to support reforestation in his homeland of Haiti. So basically you get to look cool and help help others... you can't beat that!!

Wow!! One of the most syndicated and the longest running daytime talk shows in the United States, The Oprah Winfrey Show, will unplug from sets across he country after 25 successful seasons in the year 2011. Although this is sad news for fans that have followed Oprah's humbling beginning, it's already being reported that the Mississippi-born Winfrey is planning on starting a new show on her very own OWN network (yup, she own's that). Even if Oprah, 55, decided not to come back to television, she can certainly rest comfortably on the billions of dollars that she is worth.

Monica's reality TV series on BET, Still Standing, has been buzzing since it recently aired. The title of the show is also the name of Monica's 6th album release and single, which is slated for a early 2010 release.

In a recent cover story with Rolling Out Magazine, here's how the Atlanta-born Monica interpreted 'Still Standing':

"Still standing [are] words that, once you put them together, you think strength. Whatever the rest of the interpretation is, you think ‘still standing' as in not giving up, not turning back, not letting go ... that's how I feel in my everyday life. ‘Still Standing' is the title of the show, but it's also the name of the album, because it's the best representation of where I am right now. That may change in a couple of years. I hope that I'm still standing," she says as an involuntary chuckle escapes her. "But how I look at things may change. Boxer Manny Pacquiao recently defeated Miguel Cotto in a brutal 12 round match this past Saturday at the MGM Grand Hotel for the WBO welterweight title. The winner, Manny, will now face off reigning and undefeated champ, Floyd Joy Mayweather. Jr (who has a flawless record of 40-0).

Here's a clip of Floyd 'Pretty Boy' Mayweather giving his opinion on the Pacquiao's recent match with Miguel Cotto, his thoughts on how the sport of boxing perceives him and more.

In the past, Mayweather has been criticize by boxing insiders and fans of the sport for not taking on worthy of opponents. If that's the case, Floyd (who is often referred to as Pretty Boy and Money Mayweather) can't do much running now. Both Pacquiao and Mayweather will box-off in the ring in 2010.
