We have had the pleasure of not being subjected to Paris Hilton's shenanigans for quite a while now but it seems she misses the limelight.  To get back in center stage it appears she done went and got herself arrested for an alleged possession of cocaine.  Shocker!  Not!

Hate the Game, Not the Groupie

Kat Stacks has had quite the week.  Not only did she expose Soulja Boy for possible cocaine use and may be his baby mama but she also flirted with NBA player Carmelo Anthony on Twitter.  The latter action was enough to get Carmelo's wife, Lala Vasquez to tweet a threat and then have Carmelo put a bounty on Kat's head that may mean criminal charges for him.  As amoral as Kat Stacks' actions are I have to agree with the commenter below that these celebrity men really need to be more careful with who they associate themselves with.

Political Stunts in the name of Dr. King

Thousands gathered on the National Mall to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's "I Have a Dream," speech but the rally wasn't lead by the usual ones.  It was conservative commentator Glenn Beck and tea party advocate Sarah Palin using Dr. King's name to call for America to restore "honor."  Of course activist Al Sharpton couldn't let the moment go by without raising some kinda hell and he was there with a counter rally.  I can't blame Al much especially since it seems like a hypocritical political/publicity stunt by Glenn and Sarah (two folks with very controversial stances).   After all wasn't Sarah the one who defended Dr. Laura's excessive abuse of the N-word recently?  Hmmm...

"Beck delivered a lecture about honor, BP followed up with a lecture on protecting our environment, Mel Gibson spoke on anger management, and Sarah Palin closed with lecture about the effectiveness of abstinence only sex education."

Hindering the Flow of Information

This is where the political red tape gets confusing but I will try my best to break it down for ya.  There is a Free Flow of Information Act which is being threatened with modifications after the Wikileaks scandal, which released classified military documents.  Despite the Pentagon's  report that the release of those documents did not endanger U.S. national security,  Sen. Charles Schumer and Sen. Dianne Feinstein want to specify that Wikileaks and other organizations like it should not be able to protect the identities of confidential sources.  Who cares?  Well, according to the commenter below we should because that would mean that the government is determining what validates a news outlet.  Also such a move would place fear in confidential sources from coming forward.  In an age of corporate domination when we can't always rely on  the mainstream news we need to protect sites like Wikileaks which do the job others don't do.

For the past five days Dondria has revealed a new side of herself through answering numerous personal questions, schooled us with love notes, talked back to the commenters, demonstrated how she has evolved into a confident and mature young woman, selected some key fashion looks and now she is ready to pass the torch. She was the first video I ever saw on YouTube before I posted any of my videos. She made me want to sing on YouTube. I fell in love with her voice because she has so much passion and soul when she sings. I know that she tried out for "American Idol," and was on "Sunday's Best." I think she will probably go the gospel route but her voice is beautiful.

Clearly I love his voice and I've been singing with him since the 6th grade. He has more videos than I have. He can sing and has personality to go with it. I know that he is next. He came to Atlanta and had meetings with Ne-Yo's Compound Entertainment and T.I's Grand Hustle. So we will see what is going on but there are definitely people interested in him.

I think everybody male and female needs a basic tank top.  You can keep the look basic with sneakers or dress it up with shoes.  You can also put a jacket over it or wear it plain.  There is just so much you can do with a simple basic tank top.

In day 4 of Dondria's "takeover" she traces her growth from her happy childhood to her naïveté about the music industry to her development of her own style that reflects her newfound mature personal and professional outlook. I wanted to be colorful at that age 'cause I had a happy childhood. I loved lots of pink and turquoise and now those are my favorite colors. Bright colors and brightness conveys an attitude to people and I was definitely a people person back then.

I wouldn't go to an event like that now. I don't think fashion mattered to me here. I just wanted to be comfortable. I don't think I really cared since to me it was all about the vocals. I wasn't interested in the other stuff that comes with being an artist.

In the journey between my last period and this I have learned that your look always has to be unforgettable. You want them to look at your outfit and say I love that. So I developed a passion for fashion. I look like somebody who does something. I also want to convey that you don't have to be half-naked to make a statement. There are ways to be fashionable and still classy. I don't have to dress like Rihanna. I love the way she dresses but I don't have to dress exactly like her to make my own statement. I can create who Dondria is and still be a fashion icon in the future and be taken seriously.

It wasn't suspended because I had my videos up there but because I posted things from when I was on TV.  You sign a release form saying for example, BET has exclusive rights and you can't post that footage.  So when I was on "The Monique Show" and "106 & Park" and had all that on my channel they suspended my page.  [Editor's Note:  Dondria's Channel is live again: http://www.youtube.com/user/phatfffat]

Her singing voice sounds like Beyonce's and Kelly's when they were younger. Is she even old enough to be singing about making love? I knew it wasn't before long when they would start having her sing about sex. That's a teeny bopper album cover targeting teens but she's up here singing about "making love".

First of all I am 23 and grown.  People are saying the cover is teeny bopper but they don't know my story.  It shows my transition from 19 years old on Youtube to now when I have my deal and putting an album out.  So I say do the research 'cause you don't know what you're talking about.  I think people find anything to complain about.  The thing about me being signed off of YouTube is that I appeal to everybody.  I did the 2010 Jackson Music Awards in Mississippi and the whole audience was 30 and up.  They loved that song and so do people my age in their 20's.  I am not just made for a teenage audience and if it's that serious parents can control what they want their children to listen to.

Thank you for sticking with me since 2006.  I'm in debt to all my supporters and they helped me get my record deal.  I do want to be considered a role model.  I want to let young adults know that it is possible and to show that it's okay to be real.  Real will always be appreciated and respected.

By Souleo. Yesterday she answered The Questions and now Dondria's "takeover" continues with the topic of love. You never forget your high school sweetheart.  For many it's their first real experience with the complexities of love including the joyous highs, emotional lows and peaceful middle ground.  Recording artist Dondria has experienced all such levels of love which allows her to sing so effortlessly about it on her debut album, Dondria vs. Phatfffat.  For Dondria the emotional low of young love came when she discovered she had been cheated on.

"I thought that I had the perfect relationship in high school with my sweetheart.  We did all of that talk about getting married and he cheated.  Being cheated on made me cry but instead of breaking up with him I cheated on him.  It was a mess.  I was dumb and in love," she reflected.

Dondria has learned from that "mess" and matured as a woman who has found new love.  This time around she understands the hard work that it takes to make a real relationship last.

"My boyfriend, Derek and I have been together 3 years.  He is somebody that I am pretty confident that later on will be the one that I marry.  We have our names tattooed on each other's wrists.  Being that we are long distance helped me mature as a girlfriend.  It has showed me that it is hard work.  It won't be effortless and you can't be lazy."

Still Dondria is growing and admits that one thing she must get over is being spoiled.

"I know that with Derek I am spoiled.  So sometimes he's like look you got to do some work too.  So I have my little things that annoy him.  So we both must give 100% in everything."

Keep it true!

Stay loyal and true to your word.  If you only want to date for the time being or be more serious just stay true because the trust and communication are the most important things.  When you know the person is loyal and devoted to you it makes love much sweeter.

Talk to me!

Always communicate because even if you're afraid what you might say will hurt their feelings be honest and communicate.  They will appreciate that more than you lying and them finding out later.

Do something!

Me and my man have a long distance relationship but we read books together and do things that stimulate our minds together.  So learn a language together or go travel somewhere and learn about the country together.

I eat a lot except for when I am ...stressed.

Bad girls aren't always authentic.  Sometimes beneath the layer of boldness is a feminine sexuality yearning to be set free.  Such is the style journey of R&B singer, Olivia.  When she first arrived on the scene with J. Records and her hit song, "Bizounce," she had all the hip-hip clothing, attitude and sass of a bad girl.  It turns out that was all a front.

"When I was on J. Records I came straight out of college and was the experimental artist.  They made me the bad girl, Alicia Keys the good girl and Jimmy Cozier all the way reggae.  I'm trying to fit in but I wasn't that [bad girl].  I came straight out of church and that's what made them love me.  So I was confused," she said.

Being the former lone female member of 50 Cent's, G-Unit clique gave Olivia the chance to begin defining a new sense of style for herself with less bad girl posturing and more sexiness.  But it's now as a fully-fledged independent artist where she is learning o balance her tough and sexy sides by taking control of her image

"I've always been sexy but I'm also a tomboy 'cause I love my sweats and Nike's.  Now my style is balanced.  It is crazy, sexy and cool."

To attain her look Olivia relies heavily on accessories noting that all it takes it a hot bag, shades and shoes to get fierce.

"Your accessories set off what you wear.  I'm a firm believer that your whole outfit doesn't have to be expensive so long as your shoes, shades and bags are on point."

Olivia is currently in the studio working on her forthcoming release Show the World and taping her upcoming VH1 reality show, "Married to Hip-Hop."

When it comes to being bold few hip-hop talents have created as much controversy, mayhem and groundbreaking change as, 2 Live Crew.  With their brazen lyrics on songs such as, "Me So Horny" members Luther "Luke" Campbell, Fresh Kid Ice and Brother Marquis have fought for freedom of speech and artistic expression, popularized video models and confronted society's sex taboos.  After their recent honor at the "2010 VH1 Hip-Hop Honors: The Dirty South Edition," Fresh Kid Ice and Brother Marquis aim to continue the group's legacy with their forthcoming release, Just Wanna Be Heard.

2 Live Crew proved they are still as bold as they want to be with sure-to-be controversial opinions including support for women who use sex to get ahead in the game, why gay hip-hop is the last taboo, their call for less sexual lyrics in hip-hop (we are shocked too) and more.

They are used to highlight videos so they should be able to exploit themselves or take it different ways to further their careers.  Some rappers put themselves in that position and it goes both ways.  Some rappers get benefits off some of them so why shouldn't the women get their just due.  If rappers don't want to be caught up then don't put yourself in that position.  It's the entertainment industry and everything can be used for entertainment.

Brother Marquis:

We opened Black women up to showing more of their bodies.  When we did it Black women were not exposing their body on television and videos.  Now when I look at King Magazine and Black Men Magazine I'm like damn.  So if rappers are if n****** are tricking then women will talk.  Girls will do what they gotta do and sex sells and people get exploited.

Brother Marquis on the state of sex in hip-hop:

I am cool with it but then again I am getting older too and would want to hear something more uplifting.  We brought sex but right now that's all there is.  When is somebody gonna flip the script and take hold of something else besides a** shaking, drugs and cars and chains?

Brother Marquis on hip-hop's last taboo:

There won't be no gay rap s***.  For girls it's cool but for guys there will be none of that.  I got gay people in my family so it's cool but that's gonna be the taboo of it right there.

Brother Marquis on his comedy career:

I started at the comedy club on Peachtree in Atlanta in the early nineties.  Chris tucker, Mike Epps, Monique and everybody would come through there that is big right now.  I got 5 minutes and did my thing but I wasn't serious.  Now I am serious.  This will be my old man job.  Once I start getting better at it I will incorporate hip-hop into my act.  I'm not no Eddie Griffin but I'm not getting booed either.

Brother Marquis on his faith and artistry:

God is good.  I am still going to church.  If we can cut cussing down in records it would be cool.  I'm an artist and before 2 Live Crew I made two records with no cussing.  You can be more poetic and put in more artistry that way.  I do think that I'm an artist and I could make a good conscious record.  I have more hunger than when I was first starting out.  I haven't reached my full potential as an emcee yet.
