Air Jordan "Cool Grey" is almost here
The Air Jordan IX "Cool Grey" kicks are set to hit stores just in time for Christmas. Freshness Magazine reports the all-gray everything sneakers have a bit of that old school flair mixed with a sleek frame, perfect for fans looking to enjoy shoes they can dress up or down.
It's been 10 years since this version of the retro kicks has been available, so sneakerheads everywhere may be glad to see them come out of the Jordan vault. The IX hit shelves in the same year as the popular "Johnny Kilroy" and "Olive" sneakers so there is a lot for sneaker enthusiasts to mark on their lists this holiday season.
The "Cool Grey" kicks may be the perfect addition to any Jordan collector's selection as the white soles and two-tone gray body offer major versatility. The sneakers also boast some traditional Jordan flair including the iconic "Jumpman" symbol on the upper back of the shoe and the embroidered number 23 in honor of Jordan himself. NiceKicks.com reports the sneakers have a place in Jordan history - these were the last shoes the basketball legend wore in his final game at Madison Square Garden.
Fans of the sneakers can check out Jimmy Jazz stores and Jimmy Jazz online beginning December 15 as the store is a large distributor of the Jordan brand.
