Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa welcome a son
Less than two weeks after Wiz Khalifa and his very pregnant fiance Amber Rose graced the red carpet of the 55th annual Grammys, the two have now welcomed their first child into the world. The Los Angeles Times reports the couple had a son, named Sebastian Taylor Thomaz, Feb. 21.
Earlier in the day, the proud papa let fans know Rose had gone into labor by posting a photo of himself in hospital scrubs on his Instagram page. His next message announced the birth of their son.
"Happy Birthday Sebastian 'The Bash' Taylor Thomaz!!!," Khalifa posted on Instagram. "Everyone welcome this perfect young man into the world."
Many celebrities did take the time to congratulate the couple, according to Hollywood Life.
"Congratulations to my fam @mistercap and @muvarosebud !!! Welcome baby Bash! You're born in an exquisite month #babypisces," crooner Rihanna, who celebrated a birthday Feb. 20, wrote on her Instagram account, along with a photo of her and Rose at the Grammys.
Fellow rapper and father Snoop Dogg also made a point to give the couple a shout out. He congratulated Khalifa and Rose and added that "Bash" shares the same birthday as his son Cordell.
Rose had previously discussed wanting to have a home birth with E! Online, admitting she planned to deliver naturally.
"I don't want no medication. We take home-birthing classes to teach us how to do it..." Rose told the news station.
Despite this desire, it seems as though plans might have changed, since the picture Khalifa posted seemed to show that he and Rose were in the hospital.
Do you like their son's name? Do you think Khalifa will honor his son with a new song?
