Apple shocks fans with two new products
Apple is no stranger to coming out with new and innovative products on a yearly or bi-yearly basis and this year, the brand has really outdone itself. In 2012, Apple has released the iPhone 5, the iPad 3 and most recently, the iPad Mini. PC Magazine reports the latter is impressive in terms of size, weight and screen clarity and offers fans on a budget a cheaper way to get their hands on an iPad.
The perks of the iPad MIni include it having the same apps, screen resolution and performance as the bigger version iPads, but for a bit lower price tag - it will cost $329. However, the critics at the magazine also report that although it has the ease of other Apple products, its screen isn't even comparable to the Kindle Fire HD - which costs just $199. Although the Mini was the main event at the recent unveiling, Apple had another trick up its sleeve. The brand announced it would also be releasing the iPad 4 in the coming months.
InformationWeek.com reports the latest in the iPad lineup comes just six months after the highly anticipated iPad 3 was released - leaving some upset by the sudden changes. The 4 is similar to the 3 in terms of having the same overall design, however a lot of updates are being made in the hardware department. Apple is claiming the 4 will be twice as fast as its immediate predecessor and that it will have new Wi-Fi radios that will also make it faster. The FaceTime camera will be revamped as well.
Do you think Apple is coming out with products too fast? Do you think consumers are going to stop supporting the brand?
