Away you go: The KD VI
For some sports teams, playing an away game can be crippling: An unfamiliar court combined with rowdy fans rooting for the rival team are a recipe for defeat. Not for the Oklahoma City Thunder, though. Just last season, they won 26 out of 41 away games - the second most in the NBA. So it makes sense that Kevin Durant's latest kicks for Nike would celebrate what it means to win on someone else's turf.
The KD VI is reinforced with Flywire technology for supreme support despite a lightweight feel, and the colorway couldn't be more perfectly matched to the Thunder road uniforms. With a jet black upper, silver swoosh detailing, royal blue midsole, tongue and side panel, as well as electric orange laces, these sneakers are bold enough to be seen even in the nosebleeds. In fact, according to Nice Kicks, Durant has already been spotted dominating courts with these sneakers for preseason games in Turkey and Manchester.
Since they're hitting the shelves just in time for Halloween, Durant may be a viable last-minute costume option. What are you going to be?
