Beyonce opens up about life with Blue

Megastar Beyonce has continued to open up to fans more than she ever has before. From joining social media sites like Instagram to showing personal photos on her Tumblr account, it seems as though motherhood has really changed the diva.

This notion was once again on display, as Bey discussed life as a new mother in the pages of Vogue magazine's March edition. The proud mama not only struts her stuff and shows off her fabulous post-baby bod in tight fitting women's clothes, but she also discusses how daughter Blue Ivy has changed her life for the better.

Bey affectionately nicknamed Blue "my road dog, my homey, my best friend" in the interview, adding she felt a great sense of maternal instinct eight months into her pregnancy. As for giving birth, Bey explained she pictured Blue trying to come into the world, which made her pain less severe.

"I felt like when I was having contractions, I envisioned my child pushing through a very heavy door. And I imagined this tiny infant doing all the work, so I couldn't think about my own pain," Bey told the publication regarding her labor. "We were talking. I know it sounds crazy, but I felt a communication."

Bey doesn't just feel this connection with her daughter, she also gets comfort from her longtime love and husband Jay-Z. According to the source, the couple has discussed the kind of lifestyle Blue will have in comparison to their own, and how they'll work together to ensure she stays grounded. It's this bond that keeps their love alive.

"Just knowing someone's always going to be honest and tell the truth, can understand exactly what I'm going through - and I can understand exactly what he's going through," Beyonce told the magazine about her relationship with her husband.

Though this interview was quite open for Bey, fans will soon have a chance to learn even more about the secretive singer. New York Daily News reports her documentary, "Life is But a Dream," is set to air on HBO on February 16.

Will you watch Bey's documentary? Do you feel like you already know everything you need to about the pop star?
