Beyonce proves she's back
Beyonce is back and possibly better than ever. The new mom to baby Blue Ivy proved she's still on top of her game. New York Daily News reports the singer christened the new Revel Resort's entertainment complex for four fabulous nights, performing as if she never even took a hiatus.
MTV News reports not only was Beyonce's voice on-point, but her stunning hip hop clothes also made the crowd go wild. Bey performed all of her hits, including Baby Boy, Naughty Boy, Love on Top, Single Ladies and Run the World (Girls). She also got personal with the crowd, telling them how hard she had to work to lose all the baby weight, and what she planned on doing after the shows wrapped.
"Y'all don't know how hard I had to work. I had to lose 60 pounds!" Bey told the crowd, according to the AZ Central. "They had me on that treadmill. I ate lettuce! Now tonight I'm gonna get chocolate wasted!''
Aside from having to get back in fighting weight, Beyonce also had to impress some prestigious guests in the audience. First lady Michelle Obama took in one of the concerts with daughters Malia and Sasha - the trio reportedly sat with Oprah's right hand woman, Gayle King.
Bey also got some praise from her number one supporter, Jay-Z. The rapper took to his Twitter page to send some love about his wife.
''I'm gonna say this and then I'm gonna end mine," Jay wrote on his page, according to the news source. "BEYONCE is the best performer in the world. Period."
