Bringing Back the Air Bakin'
Tim Hardaway is known for several things: Run TMC's fast break, scoring 5,000 points and 2,500 assists faster than almost any other NBA player, becoming Miami Heat's all-time leader in assists at the time, and for rocking the Nike Air Bakin'.
These kicks originally hit the court in 1997, and there's no avoiding them this year. Nike is releasing this style in new colorways, and the latest edition features a fresh palette that's perfect for the spring and summer seasons. A Turbo Green Air unit, laces and side accents pop against an all Wolf Grey upper, while a bold black panel above the translucent outsole breaks up the design.
If you're already dreaming of lacing up these Bakins, head to a Jimmy Jazz store or the website May 2, when they drops for $160. Naturally, you'll need a matching JJ exclusive New Era Grizzlies 3M NBA Strapback, too.
What do you think of the subtler colorway on this edition?
