Chris Rock creating all-star comedy tour

Chris Rock may be best known for his animated roles in films like "Madagascar" as of late, but the funnyman's roots are on the live stage. BET reports Rock may be planning to get back in the comedy circuit and he's trying to create an all-star lineup for fans to enjoy.

Rock admitted his aspirations for getting a comedy tour going and he's looking to rope in some famous friends. The actor and comedian told the Today Show that he's ready to get back on the stage and that he may be headlining the tour with the great Dave Chappelle.

"Me and Chappelle have been working out, trying to get some stuff together, we'll see," Rock said during the recent interview. "It could be pretty dangerous."

TheUrbanDaily.com reports Rock made a joke of the pairing, saying he and Chappelle could be the Jay-Z and Kanye West of the comedy ring.

"I've been talking to Chappelle a lot. Been trying to get Chappelle to go on tour. You know I'm not the hard one laughing," Rock said in the interview with the Today Show. "But I'm trying to make that happen. After seeing Kanye and Jay-Z, I was like, 'Me and Dave should do this.'"

Would you see Rock and Chappelle live? What other comedians would you like to see Rock team up with?
