Destiny's Child lives on
Beyonce might want to buy a lottery ticket this week, as it's shaping up to be her best week ever. Not only is her gorgeous figure being displayed in women's clothes on an all-important GQ cover, but she has now announced she's making new music with a few of her favorite ladies. BET reports Bey dropped the news that she'll be teaming up with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams to release a compilation CD of Destiny's Child music.
Bey announced the comeback on her Facebook page and blog, writing "I am so proud to announce the first original Destiny's Child music in eight years!"
Fans of Beyonce or of Destiny's Child might be excited to learn that the trio has recorded a new song titled "Nuclear" that will be featured on their upcoming CD, Love Songs. Aside from a few new tracks, the compilation will feature Destiny's Child hits that were recorded between 1997 and 2004.
Billboard magazine reports the CD will be released on January 22, just in time for DC fans to get pumped for Beyonce's February 3 Super Bowl halftime performance. Tracks on the new album will include "Cater 2 U," "Say My Name," "Heaven" and "Temptation."
