Double threat: Air Trainer SC II
Who could forget Bo Jackson? The superstar athlete made strides in both pro football and baseball, so it's no surprise that he basically became the face of Nike Training. One of his signature sneaker styles was the Air Trainer SC II High, which remained in the vault for more than two decades until finally re-emerging on store shelves in 2011. Now, it seems that these kicks are poised for a powerful retro return this year.
The Nike Air Trainer SC II High is not your standard shoe - it has an innate dual nature that fits Jackson's multi-sport career. Pulling from a few highlights on the OG Trainer 1 while introducing a few eclectic elements, these versatile kicks became an instant classic in the Nike Trainer family. They feature a perforated leather upper, Max Air-Sole unit and of course, an eye-catching support strap across the upper for customized comfort. A fresh colorway breathes new life into these kicks, adding blocks of Wolf Gray and Dark Gray on the side panels and heel and a surprising jolt of Bright Magenta on the signature Swoosh, lining and cross-strap.
Are you glad the Air Trainer SC IIs are back?
