Drake and Macklemore to perform at Grammys nomination concert
The Grammy Awards nomination concert this December will be as packed with as much hip hop talent as the actual award show.
According to The Source, LL Cool J is hosting the one-hour special broadcast, which takes place at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. The rapper is no stranger to emceeing a major music event, though, as he hosted the Grammy Awards in 2012 and 2013. Now, Drake, Robin Thicke, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have all agreed to perform.
All three artists have a strong chance of taking home a Grammy, too. Rolling Stone pointed out that the Seattle-bred duo Macklemore and Ryan Lewis saw major success with their platinum debut "The Heist." Meanwhile, Drake's "Nothing Was the Same" debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, and Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" was also a huge hit.
Watch each of them take the stage Dec. 6 at 10 p.m. EST.
