Drake meets Chris Brown in the studio
It's been a big week for Drake.
The first week sales are in for his latest hip hop album, "Nothing Was The Same," and Hip Hop DX reports that it debuted at #1. With 658,637 units sold, which is pretty close to the initial prediction, the album reached the top of the Billboard chart. Aside from Justin Timberlake's "The 20/20 Experience," NWTS has the highest first week sales figures of the year. He didn't have his hopes up though.
"Best advice I ever got is: No expectations lead to no disappointments," Drake said, as quoted by the news outlet. "So I have no expectations ... I'm just excited whenever people get the music."
So what's next for Drizzy? Potentially a collaboration with Chris Brown. According to The Source, the Toronto rapper recently met in the studio with Breezy, who played him a few songs. One of them got his attention, and Drake told him, "This is a big record man." This development is surprising considering they had some bad blood in the past.
Have you been hoping the two would combine talents?
