Eminem dominates video games and fashion
Hip hop artist Eminem has been popping up in new industries left and right, from urban fashion to major motion pictures.
According to Hip-Hop Wired, the rapper recently collaborated with G-Shock watches to create a limited edition piece that will hit stores in December. To celebrate the launch of his tricked out timepiece, he recently performed in New York City at G-Shock's "Shock the World" 30th anniversary party.
But that's not the only new endeavor the Detroit-bred artist is embarking on. Keep on the lookout for a feature song from Slim Shady in the upcoming trailer for the video and computer game "Call of Duty: Ghosts" from Infinity Ward, The Source reported. His track, called "Survival," is even timed so that right as he raps the word "grenade," they explode within the game. The game will be available Nov. 5, followed closely by the artist's next solo album.
Despite his hit movie "8 Mile," the silver screen is the one place Em won't likely be appearing in the immediate future. According to The Guardian, the artist came close to starring in the sci-fi film "Elysium." However, Eminem turned down the part after his request that the movie be shot in his hometown of Detroit was denied. The part went to Matt Damon instead.
Who knows what's next for this multi-talented rapper - what are you most eager to see him conquer?
