First Look at the BMW i8
First thing's first: the all-new BMW i8 can go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds. Still not impressed? The eco sports car achieves 134 mpg, is powered by a hybridized three-cylinder engine and generates 231 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque.
Now let's talk about looks. Complex magazine noted that the sleek and eye-catching i8 resembles what we expect cars of the future to look like. The only difference is, you have the chance to actually drive this vehicle in your lifetime. BMW is scheduled to begun producing the i8 in April, and deliveries will begin in June. European customers will get their hands on this car first, but hopefully Americans won't have to wait long before taking this ride to the road. Keep it locked on Jimmy Jazz for any updates on that front.
It's tough to beat BMW in terms of both speed and style. Once the i8 hits the U.S., will you behind the wheel?
