Game on: A look at the NBA All-Star Celebrity competition
Anticipation is rising for the NBA All-Star Game this weekend, but there's another event you should probably be tuning into - the Sprint NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. Friday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m., actors, musicians, athletes from alternate sports and other celebs will be showing off their skills on the court. This is a tradition that started in the 2002-03 season, and it's been a major highlight of the All-Star weekend ever since.
Seeing as Kevin Hart won the past two years, other stars are probably somewhat intimidated that the comedian is returning as one of the headliners for the 2014 game in New Orleans. So who else will be competing for the MVP title? Nick Cannon, ESPN's Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg, ESPN NBA analyst Bruce Bowen, ESPN anchor Stan Verrett, "E! News" anchor Terrence Jenkins, Victoria's Secret model Erin Heatherton and even U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, among others, will hit the court.
Who gets your bet for the celebrity champion? More importantly, what sneakers do you think they'll be lacing up for maximum agility on the court?
