Go 3-D with your iPhone
In today's high-tech society it seems there is little that can't be done. While many fans of Apple already enjoy taking snapshots on their iPhones, doing so could get a lot cooler. Freshness magazine reports a new accessory called Poppy will help transform average photos into 3-D images. The product, which looks like a standard box, contains multiple lenses and mirrors that help create and show 3-D images and videos.
Not only can users save and rewatch their 3-D films, but they can also be uploaded to sites like YouTube or played on 3-D televisions in the comfort of people's homes. An added bonus? Poppy runs battery-free, so as long as your phone has juice, you can make videos and images literally fly off the screen wherever you may be.
According to Poppy's KickStarter page, the company is about half way to its $40,000 goal. The product has already been talked about in various digital and computer publications including GeekWire, TechCrunch, Design&Trend and PC Magazine.
