Go big or go home: A football throwback
One thing is for sure in the sneaker realm: The '90s are back and looking better than ever. Once again, Nike is pulling from its retro football catalog and recovering the Air Mission for the first time ever. This happened to be the signature style of the the late San Diego Chargers' linebacker and '94 NFL Man of the Year, Junior Seau. Seau wasn't the only one rocking them, either. In addition to numerous other football stars, you can catch Will Smith sporting them in the first "Bad Boys" movie.
However, the classic turf trainer has come a long way since then. The latest edition is true to the original form, with a bold midfoot strap, horizontal design and grid-style traction pattern. This colorway, though, offers a new twist by combining bright white leather with Fire Red suede on the upper and jet black accents on the strap, lining and laces.
What other classic football shoe do you want Nike to revisit?
