Google glass may change the way we use the computer
Most people feel happy with their internet and smartphone setup, since these items help them stay connected at home and on the go. However, Google is reportedly looking to reevaluate the way we use the computer, and is trying to make the experience better with the Google Glass.
According to Hypebeast magazine, the glasses, only in the prototype phase, will act as a portable computer, allowing wearers to connect to the web and to friends in a hands-free manner. The concept was created just three years ago and is being tested after 18 months of experimentation.
Even though the glasses are less than sleek, the rumor of their existence is already causing a frenzy within the geek realm. Forbes magazine reports Google has taken a page from Apple, creating "demand before supply."
The brand was able to accomplish this by using a unique strategy that gets consumers exciting by thinking the product (which has yet to be confirmed to work) is exclusive and hard to come by. Fans will have to wait and see if Google Glass will ever hit the shelves, or if the product will die off as fast as it started.
