Grand Slam: Air Tech Challenge Huarache
Tennis tradition, '90s nostalgia, whatever you want to call it - Nike is bringing back the Air Tech Challenge Huarache, much to retro sneaker fans' excitement. For years, Andre Agassi's kicks have remained in obscurity, but after the tennis star recently returned to the footwear brand, it was a no-brainer to bring back his popular kicks. Not only is this release loyal to the 1991 originals, but the two different colorways sport neon colorblocking that will instantly transport you back in time.
Freshness takes a new meaning with a bright white leather base, speckled midsole and flashes of Tour Yellow on the toebox and patterned heel panel. These kicks wouldn't be complete without the signature stretchy neoprene sleeve, which provides a snug custom fit. The other upcoming palette features a black nubuck base for a more dramatic look, with contrasting Atomic Orange and purple detailing on the outsole, heel and Huarache lining.
What makes these sneakers so special? Agassi was wearing them the moment he made his Grand Slam breakthrough at Wimbledon in 1992. Be the first to cop your own pair of these classics when they hit Jimmy Jazz stores and online.
So which colorway will you be sporting?
