Guess whose back? Barkley's back
Charles Barkley might be retired from the game, but that doesn't mean his famous kicks are gone for good. Though some sneakerheads might have been pleased when the Barkley Posite Max Phoenix Suns kicks dropped a few weeks back, many are sure to be even more pumped to add the Barkley Posite Max Silver/Gamma Blue to their collection in time for summer.
The latest Nike kicks to be released under the Barkley name are the fresh and futuristic silver sneakers that offer collectors both style points and ultimate comfort. The Posite Max Silver/Gamma Blue feature Nike's famous Foamposite technology as well as Barkley's signature "teeth" design on the sides, according to BallerStatus. Mixed with a silver body with a black front and tongue region as well as gamma blue speckles and the cool blue shade on the sole, these sneakers are sure to garner plenty of positive attention come shorts weather.
Kicks On Court reports Nike and Barkley have teamed up once again to honor his long run with the brand - Barkley signed with Nike in 1984. A total of four Nike Barkley Posite Max designs will be released in different colorways through August 2013. The Barkley Posite Max Silver/Gamma Blue is the second pair to hit the shelves, and fans can purchase a pair June 1 at Jimmy Jazz locations or JimmyJazz.com.
