Ja Rule is back, and so is Murder Inc
Ja Rule finally released "Fresh Out Da Pen" and "Eerrthang," tracks that were much anticipated after his two year break. Then, during a recent interview with Irv Gotti on the New York City hip hop station Hot 97, the pair announced plans to bring back Murder Inc. Records. According to The Source, they discussed everything from J-Lo to signing Nas during his feud with Jay Z.
Music Times reported that Murder Inc was an incredibly lucrative label with the release of Ja Rule's hit albums in the early 2000's. Additionally, the company produced two number one albums between 2002 and 2003 for the R&B singer Ashanti. Ja Rule's last album, which dropped in 2012, only reached 197 on the Billboard 200. However, the rapper seems to be plotting a major comeback. He even told MTV News that all of his bad blood, including his beef with 50 Cent, is over and done.
"For me, I don't want to resent anything that happened ... I just want to move forward," he said, as quoted by the source.
Are you relieved Rule is back on the scene?
