Jeezy switches over to Roc Nation
There's no doubt that Jeezy was getting pretty fed up with delays from Def Jam that were holding up the release of his new album. In fact, he even unleashed some of his frustration on Twitter recently, threatening to leak his tracks if something wasn't done about the situation. Still, his sudden switch from the label may have caught some by surprise.
The Atlanta-bred rapper recently decided to partner with Jay Z's Roc Nation, and according to MTV News, they may be developing an entirely new management agency. This isn't the first time Jeezy and Jay Z will have collaborated, though. The two teamed up on a few hits, including "Go Crazy" and "Real As It Gets."
So far there aren't many details on what the snowman's deal with Roc Nation entails. Is he signing on as an artist or just for management? Stay tuned to find out, and be on the lookout for his album "#ItsThaWorld Vol. 2" to drop Nov. 27.
