When Nike first released the KD VIs, designer Leo Chang compared the craftmanship of the sneakers to the precision demanded in creating a premium wristwatch. Both require a certain meticulous attention to details so that all parts work in harmony. It goes without saying that this perfect balance was achieved with Durant's signature shoe, which fuses comfort with style and provides optimal agility on or off the court.

The latest edition is no exception, sporting the same sleek silhouette and unique lacing system but with a fresh new colorway that's understated yet bold. Unlike other recent KD releases that showcased an over-the-top, vibrant print, these feature a dark anthracite upper with eye-catching Team Orange and Mica Green highlights on the branding accents, side panels, lining and midsole for a refreshing change. One thing's for sure: There's no denying that this palette gives a subtle nod to the Oklahoma City Thunder team colors.

These are set to appear on Jimmy Jazz store shelves and the website March 15 for $130, so get ready to cop your pair soon.

Do you like the solid KD colorways better than the patterned ones?
