Kelly Rowland discusses future aspirations
The second most famous Destiny's Child singer, Kelly Rowland has proven time and again that she is a force to be reckoned with. Most recently, the singer opened up about her music and overall career aspirations while attending the Courvoisiology by Courvoisier Launch Party in New York City.
According to The Giro, Rowland discussed the excitement over her upcoming album, "Talk a Good Game," and her desire to start an accessory and shoe line. The singer has tested the waters with jewelry - she recently created a fine watch collection with TW Steel, which has sold well, giving her an ego boost that she could someday do even more in the industry.
"I definitely want to do an accessories line, a shoe line - because I love shoes - but only attach myself to something I'm excited about," Rowland told the press, according to the news outlet. "I think things should happen organically. There's no need to just jump into everything."
One thing Rowland is sure about - remaining close friends with her former Destiny's Child group members. Rowland admitted to Billboard that both Beyonce and Michelle Williams sing on her new solo album, due to be released in June, adding they were working for her.
"It's not a Destiny's Child track … It's me featuring Beyonce and Michelle," Rowland told the publication.
Are you excited about Rowland's new album? Do you think she could make it as a shoe or fashion designer?
