Kids of Run-DMC, N.W.A. may get reality show
Fans of Run-DMC and N.W.A. may love to hear some new music from the rap groups. Although that may not happen any time soon, people might be able to get the next best thing. TMZ reports that sons of rappers from both groups are looking into a reality TV show that will focus on their families and what it was like growing up in their unique settings.
Famous sons interested in getting a series include Eazy E's son Eric Lynn Wright Jr., Dr. Dre's son Curtis Young, MC Ren's son Anthony Dunbar, Jam Master Jay's son Jason Mizell and E-40's teen Droop-E. The famous offspring will be showing off their own rap skills and will let fans in on the process of trying to make it in the game - with or without a famous last name.
The Urban Daily reports the young rappers are hoping to call the show "Seeds of Hip-Hop." They have been shopping around at major networks, though no news on whether or not the series will be picked up has been announced.
