LeBron James joining Kevin Hart for a basketball movie
There's been an extensive history of NBA players appearing on the silver screen, so it was only a matter of time before LeBron James made his debut. According to the NBA blog, he'll be teaming up with funnyman Kevin Hart for a basketball flick, which is slated to film next summer during the NBA off season. Hart is a longtime basketball fan, and will be co-writing the film with a team of screenwriters.
Whether or not James has any acting chops, his role should be pretty easy for him to get into. According to the news outlet, Hart will play an aspiring basketball player who can't seem to escape the shadow of his NBA superstar brother, played by James. Then, Hart heads to a weekend fantasy basketball camp in Miami to prove he has what it takes. The film already has a name: "Ballers." However, there's still no director signed to the project - that won't be decided until the script is finalized.
What sneakers do you think James and Hart will be sporting on the court?
