Mac Miller ditches Rostrum Records
Mac Miller has transformed from a rap rookie to a full-on star in the last four years, and it appears he may have outgrown the independent Rostrum Records label. Though he stuck with Rostrum through his surging success, MTV News reported that he finally decided to say goodbye and move on after his contract ended.
The Pittsburgh rapper and his former record label revealed this development in a joint announcement to MTV News. Both said they were ending the contact on good terms, and Rostrum Records Founder and President Benjy Grinberg wished him the best of luck in the future.
"Rostrum is my family. That is forever," said Miller, as quoted by the news source. "No matter what, we will always work together. We moved mountains and I can only see them continuing that tradition. I am grateful for everything I learned and am always here for whatever."
So who do you think Miller should sign with next?
