Mark it: Chief Keef's Album Drops June 10
It's the moment hip hop fans have been waiting for: Chief Keef finally announced an official release date for his sophomore album. The third installment of his "Bang" series was initially announced back in November, and saw an indefinite pushback shortly after that. Now Interscope A&R Larry Jackson confirmed on Instagram that it's hitting shelves June 10, just in time for you to find a few new summer anthems.
We already saw the cover art, which Keef admitted was inspired by Lil Wayne's "Dedication" series. What was originally slated to be a mixtape, though, has turned into a full-flegded album. Not to mention, Keef's manager Peeda Pan told XXL magazine that "Bang 3" will also feature one of the best Chicago-bred rappers.
"Kanye will definitely be on Keef's album," Pan told the source. "He reached out and it's great for someone like Kanye from Chicago and where he stands in the game to be able to reach out to that younger generation of Chicago and for them to be able to work. I'll just put it to you like this: They have several new songs."
What other artists are you hoping collaborate with Keef?
