Matt Bonner is now a member of the Adidas fam
Adidas seems to be on fire lately when it comes to picking up pro athletes. After recently snagging Jeremy Lin, the brand announced on Twitter that San Antonio Spurs forward Matt Bonner has also signed a sneaker endorsement deal with them.
"Welcome to the family, Matt Bonner. #teamadidas #Crazy8," read the company's tweet.
Previously, the Red Mamba was known to wear New Balance kicks on the court, though he never had an official deal with the brand. Now he's changing his footwear loyalty, and he's in good company - Adidas has signed the likes of Dwight Howard, Ricky Rubio John Wall, and teammates Nando De Colo and Tim Duncan.
So what does this mean? The details of the deal haven't been revealed yet, but you can be sure you'll see Bonner sporting Adidas sneakers on his feet for the rest of the 2013-2014 NBA season. In fact, he already sported the Crazy 8s while playing the Oklahoma City Thunder Jan. 22. Cop your own pair of these bold kicks at Jimmy Jazz for $110.
Do you think Bonner made the right move joining the Adidas brand?
