Meek Mill puts tension with Kendrick Lamar to rest
It's natural for there to be a little healthy competition in the competitive world of hip hop, but some rivalries can get blown out of proportion. One of those involved the tension between Meek Mill and Kendrick Lamar - until now.
According to Vibe, Meek actually gave a shout out to Lamar during the annual Powerhouse concert in his hometown of Philadelphia.
Then during a during a recent interview, the MMG rapper said that he and Lamar are actually on friendly terms, and that many of their Tweets were taken the wrong way.
"But everybody's king in they own way," he explained, as quoted by Hot New Hip Hop. "Kendrick might say he king lyrically, I might say I'm the king of the street era, raw Hip Hop type. It's different kings in different situations, so it depends on what you're talking about."
