Naomi Campbell is looking for "The Face"

Naomi Campbell is known for being a beautiful face with a bold attitude and it's been reported she will be putting both features to good use. BET reports the model is gearing up to host a new modeling competition series called "The Face."

The show, which eerily resembles that of fellow supermodel Tyra Banks' "America's Next Top Model," will center around molding aspiring models with the help of Campbell. Under her guidance, one model will become the face of a national major brand. Auditions for the new series will take place on July 21 in New York City and on July 28 in Los Angeles.

It's been reported the show will have plenty of guest appearances by some of Campbell's fellow original supermodels, including Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington and Cindy Crawford. The women should have no problem showing the potential models how to walk the walk and rock the best in women's urban clothes and high fashion alike.

The Huffington Post reports the show will air on the Oxygen Network. Model hopefuls must be at least 18 years old to audition and must be at least five-foot-seven-inches to compete. Campbell offered up some other tips to ladies looking to audition in a recent press release about the show.

"I'm looking for contestants who have the whole package - a beautiful face, healthy, toned body, unique look, interesting personality, confidence, and, above all, strong work ethic and drive," Campbell said according to The Huffington Post. "Most importantly, I'm looking for a model with a fearless spirit who can completely transform like a chameleon, and take you on a unique journey that makes you believe that even the impossible is possible."

Despite the encouragement, it's been confirmed Campbell won't be making an appearance at either auditions, leading some to wonder who will pick out the potential candidates.

Campbell recently opened up about the show, set to air in 2013, to Yahoo News. She hopes to discover the next beautiful face and to teach the young ladies the ups and downs of the industry.

"I am looking forward to working in partnership with Oxygen and Shine America to discover the next beautiful face of the modeling world," Campbell told the news outlet in a release. "With The Face the audience will get a real insider's look at this exciting industry that has been so good to me."
