Nike Golf NG360 app gets revamped
Golf is one sport that continues to grow in popularity, with much of its success coming from the game's poster child, Tiger Woods. Like many other sports, golf is looking to get in on the social media and smartphone gaming profits, and Nike is leading the pack. The famous athletic brand launched its NG360 app in May in the U.S., and now the company is looking to offer fans in Canada and Europe the same tips.
According to Freshness magazine, the app helps golf enthusiasts work on their game by breaking down their swings and offering training tips created by the applied functional science training fitness experts at the Gray Institute. Even more impressive? The iPhone app has the capability to chart users' drive accuracy and average putts per round, while also allowing golfers to compare their skills with others in the Nike+ realm.
Sunny Miller, the global digital director for Nike Golf, shared with World Golf that the company has also updated various features to help users further improve their game.
"We wanted to take NG360 to our athletes across the globe," Miller told the news source. "The app helps golfers to maximize their game with easy-to-navigate tools and tutorials. The updated NG360 app makes tracking and improving simpler, motivating athletes to know their game to better their game."
