P-Rod hints at new Lunar Rod kicks

Skateboarding great Paul Rodriguez has been into making fresh sneakers for quite some time. Hypebeast reports the athlete is at it again and recently sent out a snapshot of the heel of his new design with Nike. The new line, Primitive x Nike SB Lunar Rod, looks funky and colorful from the shot, and fans everywhere are anxious to see more.

P-Rod is no stranger to kicks and this newest line is sure to impress. From the glimpse of the heel, fans can see the shoe features a solid white sole with a stripe of red above it. The heel is then covered in a black and white paint drop-inspired fabric. The body of the shoe is black with the famous Nike swoosh made out of a blue and black spotted leather material.

The shoe has the lightweight feel of a running shoe with the durability of a true skate sneaker, the news source reports. No release day on the collection has been announced yet, but fans of the original Lunar Rods will be able to snatch up a pair sometime in October.
