Part two: Drew Vision talks making it in the entertainment industry

Even though music has been his life since he was 5 years old, the up-and-coming crooner has also tried his hand in other outlets within the entertainment industry. Along his journey, Vision has modeled and acted, with his dream job being an outlet like Broadway where he could mesh his passion for music with the fun of acting.

"Singing is my true passion but I have to admit it's even more fun when I can act and sing at the same time like in musical theater," Vision said.

Vision says he also enjoys modeling, especially working on shoots like those for Jimmy Jazz, where he gets to try on all the latest clothing styles, but he doesn't consider it his main focus right now.

"I haven't taken modeling too seriously but I do love to put on nice clothes and let my ego shine for the camera," Vision said jokingly.

Something Vision is proud of other than his music, is helping young adults reach their goals. He regularly volunteers with the New York-based group Operation P.R.I.D.E. (Positive Results in Drug Education), an organization that tries to help youngsters achieve their goals and avoid getting into drugs or other negative outlets.

"I have found that one of the easiest ways to get through to someone is through music. Since then I have used it to my advantage. I volunteer [at Operation P.R.I.D.E.] to teach teenagers about music in exchange for them to meet once a week to learn about the negative impact that drugs have on people's lives," Vision said. "I'm most involved with helping the youth right now because they are the future and they always seem to look up to me and take my advice."
