Phaedra Parks of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" gets fit
When it comes to looking good, many ladies of the Bravo network's popular "Real Housewives" franchise know what it's all about. These women tend to have little to do in terms of actually working, making it easy for them to set aside time to stay fit and eat healthy. Now, "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Phaedra Parks is looking to help everyday people tone-up.
BET reports Parks has teamed up with her fitness trainer and husband Apollo Nida to create a workout video that is meant to help ladies get fit - especially shaping a fabulous booty. The DVDs, dubbed "Phine Body," has some unique plans for people to follow, including "Donkey Booty Volume 1" and "Lower Body & Core Training."
Parks told the news source having a great butt and sharing her secrets with other women looking to shape up is important to her.
"Some people think a donkey booty is just a gigantic booty, but it's not. It's a nice perfect round behind, and anyone can have it," Parks told the publication "You can start off as flat as a board. And if you work the glutes, you can build the muscle, so it has that nice curvy appeal. Do some squats, some lunges, you will really see your legs and your behind just lifting."
Parks isn't the only housewife looking to make a buck thanks to her stardom from the shows. The Philadelphia Daily News reports other reality TV darlings like Bethenny Frankel, Ramona Singer, Kandi Burruss and Gretchen Rossi have all started different business endeavors. Frankel may be the most successful as her brand of Skinnygirl products has taken hold of the alcohol industry, the food market, the clothing world and more.
