Pick your poison: Nike Air Zoom Flight 'The Glove'
Considering that point guard Gary Payton was recently inducted into the Hall of Fame, it makes sense that his signature sneaker, the Nike Air Zoom Flight "The Glove," is making a major resurgence. These kicks are named after the legendary basketball player's own moniker, which refers to his super sharp defense skills. Now, the sneakers are back in a white, black and poison green colorway that's as menacing as Payton once was on the court.
Featuring the same zipper shroud and inner mesh panel with hidden laces, the latest edition of the Nike Air Zoom Flight "The Glove" has a little hidden secret: After zipping open the outer skin, an electric poison green exoskeleton is revealed. While no one can say that Payton's behavior was ever zipped up, this style symbolizes his playing style in a nutshell: multi-layered and totally unpredictable. He's not the only player who was rocking Hyperflights while shooting hoops, either. Jason Williams, the legendary point guard for the Sacramento Kings, was sporting these kicks, often even before they even were released.
What do you think is the best basketball sneaker of all time?
