Porsche takes fans' advice to heart
Facebook has become more an open diary and a place for people to vent then an outlet to learn about new people and products. However, those who follow the iconic Porsche car company now have something to show for it. Freshness magazine reports the luxury brand recently listened to input from its Facebook followers and even tweaked the classic 911 Carrera 4S thanks to enthusiasts' advice.
Everything from the color of the ride to its rim size was selected by fans, and Porsche was more than happy to create the one-of-a-kind style. While the Porsche 5 Million campaign is over since the car has already been built, the company is offering fans even more excitement.
According to its Facebook page, Porsche is running another contest that allows people to enter for a chance to drive the custom car, after all, it's the fans who made the sleek design.
"To show our appreciation, we would like to give you and a friend of your choice the chance to get behind the wheel of this one-of-a-kind sports car at the Porsche Experience Center in Silverstone," Porsche said in a statement. Those interested in entering have until Aug. 18 to enter.
Did you help create the custom 911 Carrera S4? Are you going to enter the contest for a chance to win?
