
This past weekend Disney's The Princess and the Frog scored the #1 film in the box office. This is the first time in history Disney Pictures has had a African American princess in one of their animations. The Princess and the Frog made over $25 million dollars.
The animation, which is set in New Orleans, features a dynamic voice cast from some the the industry's best. Which includes Anika Nose Rose (voice of Princess Tiana), Terrance Howard (voice of her Princess Tiana dad) and Oprah Winfrey (voice of Princess Tiana mom). If you have yet to hit the theaters to see the film, check out the trailer below. It might just make you check it out this holiday season.
