Queen Latifah says OutKast has an album in the works
So it's already official that OutKast is headlining Coachella, but recent reports confirmed that they'll be performing at a slew of other events this year, including the Governors Ball. The reunion could entail a lot more than just live performances of past hits, too. According to MTV News, Queen Latifah told Howard Stern in a SiriusXM interview that they could have some fresh music pretty soon.
"They're chilling," she said, as quoted by MTV. "They're doing movies, and they're about to work on a new album."
Though she did represent the hip hop duo early in their career, she stressed that she doesn't manage them anymore.
It's been eight years since OutKast's last album, "Idlewild," and 2014 marks the rap group's 20th anniversary.
What do you think - is it time for a new LP from Andre and Big Boi?
