The fabulous Queen Latifah is known for her soulful sound and her ability to captivate audiences on the big screen. Deadline.com reports now, fans can gain some valuable advice from the entertainer, as her highly-anticipated talk show finally has an airing date.

"The Queen Latifah Show," produced by Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith, will air in the fall of 2013 on CBS. Latifah is no stranger to the hosting business, as she was on the talk show circuit from 1999 to 2001 for a show of the same name as her new series. The new show will be a mix of pop culture, interviews and in depth pieces.

The show will feature "celebrity interviews, human interest stories, comedy, pop culture and musical performances," according to a statement. "It is expected to showcase Queen Latifah’s talents, blending comedy and music into her hosting duties."

The Inquisitr reports Latifah's deal took a long time due to negotiations. It took a year for Sony TV, Latifah and Shakim Compere's Flavor Unit to come to an agreement. NBC had originally been looking into having the show on its network, but got outbid by CBS.
