Rappers battle it out at the Brooklyn Powerhouse

Lately, Brooklyn has been seeing some serious traffic and major talent from the hip hop world, between Drake concerts, sold-out Jay Z shows at the Barclays Center and more. Most recently, Barclays hosted Power 105.1's Powerhouse concert, which brought Meek Mill, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Meek Mill, Fabolous, Lil' Kim, Nicki Minaj and Kendrick Lamar, among others, to the stage.

A highlight was definitely the rap battle between DJ Self of BK and DJ Envy, who was repping Queens. Kendrick Lamar, who has controversially proclaimed himself King of New York as well as his native West Coast, drew the evening to a close, and he definitely ended it with a bang. According to XXL magazine, the rapper paid tribute to the late Notorious B.I.G., ushering out Lil Kim, who performed "It's All About the Benjamins" and "Get Money." MTV News noted that as the crowd erupted in applause, Lamar urged the crowd to bow down to the Queen of Brooklyn.

In your opinion, who is the real rap royalty of BK?
