Retro 11 Playoffs here in time for the holidays
The holiday season is just kicking off with Thanksgiving, which means now is the perfect time for sneaker enthusiasts to hand out their wish list to their families. One pair of kicks fans are sure to want to find under the tree this Christmas are the Air Jordan Retro 11 "Playoffs."
HighSnobriety.com reports the sneakers are a throwback to when Jordan was at his best. Last year's December release of the Air Jordan 11 Retro Concords saw some wild reactions. Mass hysteria ensued when hundreds of fans tried to purchase pairs of these re-released kicks, and this year will hopefully see similar turnouts without all the drama.
The Playoff high tops are a true homage to all that made Jordan a star - right down to the colorway that echoes his times with the Chicago Bulls. NiceKicks.com reports the original sneakers came out in 1996 and the new edition features the same colors. The sneakers have a red sole with white siding. The body consisted of an all black color scheme with the toes covered in a patent leather sheen. The famous "Jumpman" logo is high up on the heel of the shoe, making it look as though the iconic emblem is dunking the ball into the top of the kicks. The Jumpman is also showcased in the middle of the tongue.
Fans looking to secure a pair of these shoes, which come out on December 21, should check out Jimmy Jazz stores or JimmyJazz.com as the company is a large supplier of the Jordan Brand - both new and old.
Do you like the black, white and red colorway? Are you looking into these sneakers or are you interested in other Jordan re-releases coming out this year?
