Retro 9 Air Jordans make a comeback
The holiday season is sure to bring some extra excitement, especially for sneaker enthusiasts. SneakerNews.com reports it was announced back in spring that the "Cool Gray" Air Jordan IX Retro's were going to be released and now the wait is almost over. The kicks are set to drop on December 15, just in time for Christmas.
These sneakers come in the wake of a variety of other popular styles including the classic 'Johnny Kilroy' Jordans, the Retro 4s and many others that were big in the past. The Retro 9s are sure to be sought after as they are sleek and stylish, perfect for 2012/13.
KicksOnFire.com reports the colorway of these kicks stray from the bold patterns of their predecessor - the shoes are more mellow and wearable everyday or even for special occasions. The sneakers have a gray sole mixed in with a white layer and then back to a darker, patent leather side body. The rest of the body is made of a soft, lighter gray hue that helps offset the more flashy patent sections. The white laces, white "Jumpman" logo on the side and the classic "23" embroidered on the back make it the perfect gift for Jordan enthusiasts.
The sneakers will cost fans $160 this December 15. Interested buyers can check out Jimmy Jazz stores or JimmyJazz.com as the company is a large distributor of Jordans.
