Samsung trying to rival Apple
Apple may be releasing new products like it's going out of style, but Samsung has been playing it cool in order to perfect their brand of tablets. After much anticipation and gossip, the company, along with Google, has finally let fans in on their little secret, Freshness Magazine reports.
The duo announced the release of their tablet, the Nexus 10, and it is a definite rival to the iPad - of any generation. The latest in the Samsung tablet family far outweighs its predecessor as it is 10.1 inches with a 2,560 by 1,600 display. It boasts 2GB of RAM and has an impressive screen that is virtually perfect from all angles, the news source reports. The tablet is lightweight and comes standard with Wifi, Bluetooth and a 9,000 mAH battery life that allows it to run for between 9 and 10 hours. The Nexus 10 is set to be released on November 13.
GizMag.com reports the iPad weighs almost a pound more than the Samsung tablet while the iPad is available in Wifi only and Wifi plus 3G models, whereas the Nexus 10 is only compatible with Wifi. The Nexus 10 has a slightly better camera than the iPad and comes with Google technology.
