Scottie Pippen is heading to TV
Legendary basketball star Scottie Pippen may have retired from the sport a few years back, but it doesn't mean fans have lost interest in him or his family. Now, it's been announced Pippen will be starring in a new reality TV series dubbed "Big Pippen," according to The Hollywood reporter.
The show will focus on the lavish life of the former athlete and his wife Larsa as they juggle family time with living as socialites and business gurus.
"[The reality series] revolved around Chicago power couple Larsa and Scottie Pippen. From private jets to designer digs, diamond rings and six NBA championships, the Pippens live a truly charmed life. Add in her overbearing family and his clan from Arkansas, and this duo is living life Big Pippen style," the news outlet reports.
Comcast Sportsnet reports the series is set to air on WE television, a female-dominated network that has a wide array of reality TV shows under its belt including Toni Braxton's show, "Braxton Family Values," and multiple bridal shows like "Bridezillas" and "My Fair Wedding."
Pippen's wife Larsa is no stranger to reality TV, she was on the first season of the popular Bravo franchise "Real Housewives of Miami."
