Step into spring's hottest shoe trends
With the weather finally turning warm, more ladies are ready to bare their legs, showing off some of the hottest trends in shoes for spring and summer. BET reports there seem to be specific styles that divas should try to emulate this season.
According to the network, spring and summer is going to be all about color. From pastel pointed-toe heels to chunky and funky bright stunners, the sky's the limit when it comes to selecting the best shoes. Stars like Angela Simmons have been seen getting funky with their footwear. Most recently, Simmons stopped by BET's 106 & Park rocking a fabulous pair of over-the-top chunky platform pumps in a buttercream yellow hue. She paired the outlandish heels with fresh women's urban clothes including a tan jumpsuit and bold turquoise jewelry.
Wendy Williams recently had a whole show dedicated to spring and summer fashion. According to Williams the hottest trends are certainly neon, pastels and girly florals. Ladies who aren't good with walking in heels can still look sexy by finding flats or sassy sandals in these hot hues.
Williams added that pastels are the easiest transition into color and can also work as neutrals, which is perfect when paired with the right urban clothes.
"Pastels can actually be sophisticated. Some people think that pastels are not fashion forward, but with these options they are the epitome of sophistication," she said during the March 15 taping of her show. "You can think of it like a neutral because they’re so soft. This is the easiest trend to embrace."
