Supra sneakers are coming
Skateboarding has become more mainstream and popular throughout both urban and suburban regions around the nation. Because of this, select Jimmy Jazz locations will soon be catering to the needs of its clients by offering kicks from the Supra Footwear Collection. Casual Lifestyle reports the brand was created by Angel Cabada, a skateboarder from Orange County, Calif. After working a string of dead-end jobs, Cabada decided to start his own clothing brand, TSA.
The company remained popular for about 10 years before Cabada decided to part ways with his business partner. In 2002 the now-savvy businessman opted to start his next line, KR3W, with the help of One Distribution, which solely focused on clothing. He then branched out on his own to create Supra Footwear, a name that means "above and beyond" in Latin, the news outlet reports.
Over the years, Supra Footwear has continued to evolve, and now the company sponsors a slew of professional skateboarders. According to Supra's official website, the brand sponsors Chad Muska, Lucien Clarke, Stevie Williams, Neen Williams and Kevin Romar among others.
